Launch of the platform for women's entrepreneurship, spearheaded by Désirée Djomand, President of AFIP and VP of AIODD, and with the support of the entire AIODD Côte d'Ivoire team. Numerous meetings were held with women business leaders, discussions on the SDGs with members of parliament and directors of organizations (Coffee and Cocoa Council), a working meeting on the SDGs took place at the Ministry of Development, and participation in a radio program on entrepreneurship, with the participation of the NGO Femme de Demain and Media 1 from Morocco, from January 27 to 30, 2017.

An international symposium was held at the UN in Geneva, organized as part of International Women's Day, on the theme "Women as Drivers of Economic Emergence and Sustainable Development," in partnership with AFIP and UNESU, with the support of the Diplomatic Mission of Côte d'Ivoire. Numerous prominent figures, international delegations, and Janine Diagou, CEO and one of the top 10 most influential women in Africa, were in attendance on March 8, 2017.
