The first edition of the White Ribbon Campaign in Senegal, entitled "A Senegal Free of Violence Against Women and Girls by 2030," was organized. This meeting brought together government bodies, United Nations agencies, including UN Women, national and international NGOs, and civil society organizations. The goal was to raise awareness of the need to take action against gender-based violence. These various entities will focus their discussions on analyzing implemented strategies, building on successes achieved, learning from failures, and formulating innovative actions to eliminate violence against women and girls by 2030.
