Colloquium at the Luxembourg Palace

On February 28, 2025, AI-ODD organized a national conference at the Senate, under the patronage of Loïc Hervé, Vice-President of the Senate . Entitled " Putting the 2030 Agenda at the heart of the 2026 Municipal Elections ", this event brought together local elected officials, sustainable development experts, representatives of public institutions and civil society actors.

The objective is clear: to make Agenda 2030 a strategic priority in the construction of future municipal programs.

In a context of major ecological, social and democratic transitions, this symposium highlighted the central role that municipalities can play in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By integrating the SDGs into their local policy, communities have a concrete compass to guide public action towards greater coherence, impact and inclusion.

The symposium was also an opportunity to highlight the actions already undertaken by some pioneering communities, to share methodological tools, and to strengthen the dialogue between territories and national institutions.

With the 2026 municipal elections approaching, this initiative is part of a broader dynamic of transformation of local public action, linked to global issues.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OUR PARTICIPANTS!
