AIODD has carried out more than 50 concrete projects on the ground, in line with the major objectives of the 2030 Agenda, in addition to all the communication and awareness-raising actions on the SDGs since 2006.

SDG 2. Zero Hunger: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture

  1. Distribution of food kits for people suffering from hunger (partnership with the NGO Solidarité Safe helping illiterate women to generate income), Ivory Coast

  2. Rehabilitation of a farm (Village du Millénaire AIODD, with the support of a manager at the World Bank), Ivory Coast

  3. Land recovery on the Fankassa plateau, 75%, following degradation (partnership with Qatar Charity), Niger

  4. Distribution of small and large ruminants (sheep and cows) for 30 beneficiaries (partnership with Qatar Charity), Niger

  5. Annual co-organization of a meal, aimed at "supporting farmers from here and elsewhere, advocating for food sovereignty, the right of access of indigenous populations to natural resources, land, water, forests and seeds", in partnership with The Meal, AVD, the Ministry of National Education, etc. Burkina Faso

SDG No. 3. Health and Well-being: Empower people to live healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

  1. Support for a clinic in Mae Tao, Myanmar, on the Burmese-Thai border, providing training, care, and equipment to marginalized people who have suffered under Burmese oppression, AIODM France

  2. Support for more systematic newborn registration (to subsequently improve access to education and rights), Ivory Coast

  3. Support for the creation of a center for battered women: reception and training for reintegration, Ivory Coast

  4. Organizing vaccination campaigns with NGOs, Ivory Coast

  5. Creation of a health center (Millennium Village, with support from the local king and Middle Eastern partners), Ivory Coast

  6. Construction of a maternity ward – underway (Millennium Village), Ivory Coast

  7. Support for actions and demonstrations on the elimination of violence against women and girls, Senegal

  8. Cooperation with OMAEP, which organized prenatal education training in Congo Brazzaville, Cotonou, and Geneva to provide enhanced support to women and expectant babies

  9. Construction of latrines (in partnership with the NGO – Qatar Charity), Niger

  10. Installation of urban toilets in Nardigochla (AIODD Millennium Village), India

SDG No. 4. Quality education: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all

  1. Standardization of a six-classroom school (Sanrgho), Burkina Faso

  2. Participation in the construction of a school (in partnership with Orange), Ivory Coast

  3. Renovation of a school with the residents (Millennium Village AIODM), Ivory Coast

  4. School kit distribution, Ivory Coast

  5. Courses for refugees, oppressed people, and their families at the Mae Tao clinic on the Burmese-Thai border, for Burmese and Karen people, AIODM France, Burma

  6. Establishment of a three-classroom primary school and school administration (NGO-Qatar Charity), Niger

  7. Presenting the SDGs in remote villages in Côte d'Ivoire, using visual and educational methods, to enable illiterate residents to access information about the SDGs, as well as their rights

  8. Translation of the SDGs into 6 spoken languages in Benin, in partnership with GIZ and the Ministry of Planning, which is in charge of the SDGs

SDG No. 14. Life below water. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development

SDG 15. Life on land. Conserve, restore and ensure sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

  1. Reforestation (more than 3000 trees) in the regions of Kayes, Koulikoro, Sikasso, Segou and Mopti in collaboration with the Malian Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations (FEMACAU)
